Inbal Hever is a Mezzo Soprano, whose repertoire ranges from Baroque to Contemporary Classical music. She has performed as a soloist in Israel, Europe and the U.S and worked with such musicians as Reinbert de Leeuw, Barbara Hannigan and Christina Pluhar. Inbal has been a member of le Choeur de Chambre de Namur (Belgium) and De Nederlandse Bachvereniging (Netherlands), and has premiered contemporary works in venues such as the Bimhuis, Muzikgebouw (Amsterdam) and Deutschlandfunk's Forum Neuer Musik (Cologne).

Inbal premiered Chaya Czernowin’s solo vocal piece Adiantum Capillus-Veneris, Etudes in Fragility for Voice and Breath at Deutschlandfunk's Forum Neuer Musik in Köln (DL). Her recording of the piece (Hidden, WERGO 2017) was chosen by Alex Ross for The New Yorker’s list of Notable Performances and Recordings of 2017. Inbal’s years-long collaboration with photographer Sam Contis, which deals with the relation between voice, body and movement, was presented in 2022 in the show "Duet" at Klaus von Nichtssagend gallery in New York City (“a stunning, expensive duet,” The New Yorker).

Inbal started singing at an early age in “Ha’Efroni” choir, Israel, and studied with Mira Zakai at the Buchmann-Mehta Academy of Music (Tel-Aviv University). She then studied with Michael Chance, Gerda van Zelm and Barbara Hannigan at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague (Netherlands), where she took a B.A and an M.A in Early and Contemporary Music.

She lives in New York.
