Inbal Hever is an Israeli Mezzo Soprano, whose repertoire ranges from Baroque to Contemporary Classical music. She has performed as a soloist in Israel and Europe, with, among others, Jerusalem Baroque Orchestra, Copenhagen Soloists, NJO Orchestra and Ereprijs Orchestra. She has worked with such musicians as Reinbert de Leeuw, Jos van Veldhoven, Elisabeth Wallfisch and Christina Pluhar, and has performed in such festivals as “Gaudeamus,” “Rotterdam Opera Days” and “Klang und Raum”. Inbal has been a member of le Choeur de Chambre de Namur (Belgium) and De Nederlandse Bachvereniging (Netherlands), and has collaborated with the Dutch dance company t.r.a.s.h. in their piece “ZOFíA”. She premiered works of young composers in venues such as the Bimhuis and Muzikgebouw in Amsterdam. In April 2016 Inbal performed Chaya Czernowin's piece, Adiantum Capillus-Veneris, Etudes in fragility for voice and breath, at Deutschlandfunk's Forum Neuer Musik in Köln (DL).
Inbal performs extensively also Hebrew and Israeli songs, in official ceremonies and private events. In her collaboration with Israeli musicians she has worked with such artists as Naomi Shemer, Yoni Rechter, Talma Elyagon and Rafi Kadishson.
Inbal started singing at an early age in “Ha’Efroni” choir, Israel, and studied with Mira Zakai at the Buchmann-Mehta Academy of Music (Tel-Aviv University). She then studied with Michael Chance, Gerda van Zelm and Barbara Hannigan at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague (Netherlands), where she took a B.A and an M.A in Early and Contemporary Music.
Inbal is now living in New York and performs in America, Europe and Israel.
